In addition to extensive educational use in the USA, Benchmark Education resources are also used in schools and training centers in Europe, the Middle East, Canada, South America, and Asia.
Benchmark Adelante / Guía del maestro:
In this project, we worked with the English version of the lessons to get an adapted version in Spanish, translating the content and adapting it to the Spanish language rules. These lessons are for children from Kindergarten to Sixth grade and cover all kinds of topics. Some of them are universal, like science, but others need to be adapted, having in mind the particular audience's cultural aspects. We used specific vocabulary designated for this project.

In this project, we worked with teacher's guides, each one related to a specific book. Some of these books were translated, and others were created better to suit the Spanish learners' cultural backgrounds. Because of that, these guides should have been changed and adapted accordingly. In addition to the teacher's guides, there were also cards with questions for the students. Those cards had strategies to follow, and we created the questions for students to search for text evidence, following the assigned book. We also created the possible correct answers.

Casa Vacia is an independent publisher based in Richmond, Virginia. Founded in 2016, it has published more than sixty titles in all literary genres: novels, short stories, essays, poetry, drama. Publish in Spanish and English.
